Mrs Morrell’s Smarties learned about how to search, insert, & resize images in Google Slides yesterday. They found images of nouns for their nouns slide.

5th grade Art students are studying primary, secondary, and complementary colors to make a painting that will include adjectives describing themselves.
Mrs Crawford’s class is practicing sounding out words and spelling them!
PJHS Picture Day will be this Thursday, September 2nd. Ordering packets were sent home last week. If you need another one, please have your child stop by the front office.

Washington and Lincoln School students are doing their ONE PTO-sponsored fundraiser for the year. Who loves cookies?? These are delicious! Orders for gift items are also being taken online. See a parent of one of our elementary students for more information.

Doing a STEM cup stacking challenge today in 3rd grade. Students had to stack 6 cups into a pyramid by using string and rubber bands. They could not touch the cup. We have some great thinkers at Lincoln School.

Just a reminder that if a student is home sick with COVID symptoms, their siblings must also stay home as well until an alternate diagnosis is made by a physician or a negative test is received per the IDPH guidelines. We appreciate your continued cooperation in this matter!

6th Grade Chromebook Update: We are planning to send Chromebooks home this week. If you have not paid your child's registration fees, they will not be able to bring their Chromebooks home. Please send in your payments as soon as possible. If you have questions, you may call the office.
