Mrs LaMarche and Mrs Headrick’s students were practicing the STEM design process-design, build, test, adjust-with their Apple rafts during TECH Time this week.
Students enjoyed the beautiful weather this week collecting bugs in our school garden.
KDG students in Mrs Beyers and Mrs Smith’s classes have been practicing their drag & drop skills by sorting letters & numbers and colors. They’ve also been practicing reading color words by spinning the big wheel during TECH Time.
Monday, the Pana Fire Dept came and showed our students the process of removing a patient from the vehicle after being involved in a wreck. They also discuss frequent accident spots, and safety tips. Also, the explain the process of a 911 call and things the kids will need to know. Huge thanks to the Pana Fire Dept.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday October 7th from 12:00 - 8:00pm at Lincoln Elementary. Please check in with your child's teacher to schedule a conference time, if you haven't already done so. We look forward to speaking with you. Just a reminder there will be no school on 10/7(Conferences), 10/8(Teacher Institute) or 10/11(Columbus Day).
Lincoln School celebrated our own school custodians today, with donuts and cards from the students. Thank you to Mr. Brown and Ms. Koons for all you do to keep our school safe, friendly and clean.

Congratulations to the Pana Boys’ Golf Team on placing 4th at the SCC Golf Tournament. The boys shot a season best 357.

Will it sink or will it float? Mrs. Schmitz’s class had fun designing and building rafts for our apple chunks to find out if they would sink or float. Thank you Ms. Hahnenkamp for another great S.T.E.M. lesson.
These students in Mr Metzger’s class have been busy working on building a school bus. They have been working hard on the wheels making sure they will roll.
