Third graders completed a contract for taking the IAR. One of the reward choices was to eat lunch with the teacher. We had so many kids choose to spend their lunch hour with us. They enjoyed cookies and cupcakes for dessert. What a fun morning!!

Our fun lunch group!
The tables are set and ready to be filled!
Lincoln School officially wrapped up the IAR state testing. During the testing, students were able to work towards raffle tickets that they could place in Incentive Envelopes. Students were able to earn up to 5 tickets to possibly win one of our great prizes. The students were VERY excited about the drawing! We wanted to give a HUGE thank you to the local businesses that agreed to donate items for our students! Local businesses continue to go above and beyond for the students at Lincoln School and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you to Pana Bowl, Roseland Theatre, Sparrow Bicycle Co, Christian County YMCA, Scoop’d, Anarchy, and Pizza Man.

Dear Parents/Guardians, It is with deep sadness that I inform you about the loss of a student this evening. Our District is committed to doing everything we can to help all students with the grieving and healing process. To that end, we have activated our crisis counseling team to be at Pana Jr. High School tomorrow on Saturday, April 1, 2023 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This loss will affect everyone in our school family and Pana CUSD #8. Students may have a difficult time with dealing with the loss and we encourage you to talk with your child. At this time, the District will not be releasing the name of the student out of respect for the privacy of the family. I appreciate your continued support of our students. Please pray for the family and keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate through this difficult time. Sincerely, Jason Bauer Superintendent
