The German exchange students from the High School joined us as we celebrated students who demonstrate kindness. After Mr. Metzger and Wyatt shared announcements, we presented certificates to students who have been caught being kind. We finished the assembly, as always, by reciting our school motto: Be Smart, Be Safe, Be Kind. ️❤️ This time, however, our German friends added a special touch by teaching us how to say it in German! Be sure to check out the video: https://shorturl.at/bINX6

PHS has welcomed exchange students from our partner school in Germany, and everyone is having a blast! We've been fortunate to have fantastic host families, incredibly supportive administration, and students and staff whose curiosity and openness have helped forge new and lifelong friendships. Interest in this exchange program is buzzing around PHS right now, and we hope to take our students to Germany next year, where our new German friends will show us the same hospitality we've shown them! A parent and student information meeting will take place within the next month and a half -- stand by!
