
Exploratory Ag has been working on projects in the woodshop. Last week they finished their flag projects. They got to choose how to decorate theirs once they were assembled.
We have a second project in the works, be keeping your eyes out for the next one!







Mrs. King’s class became chicken parents last week. They had a total of 15 eggs hatch! Thank you to the University of Illinois Extension Offie and our AG Lady, Rebecca Niemeier for providing the eggs.





Shout-out to these two boys for staying and helping clean up after the music concert last week! They helped move chairs and pack items up. We appreciate your help!

Mrs. Perry had Glow Day last week in 6th grade math. Students were up and moving as they work together to complete math stations. Mrs. Perry is always looking for ways to add some fun to her class!


Congratulations to our Students of the Month at PJHS. These students have demonstrated excellent behavior inside and outside the classroom. They are well-mannered and respectful to peers and teachers.

John Berns, a Pana High School Senior, received the National School Choral Award and the John Phillip Sousa Band Award at the Pana High School Spring Honors Concert on May 1st, 2024. The National School Choral Award® is the highest honor for high school choral performers. It recognizes the dedication and musical achievement of the top choral students. The Sousa Award is the pinnacle of achievement in a high school band. Introduced in 1955 to honor the top student in the high school band, the John Philip Sousa Band Award® recognizes superior musicianship and outstanding dedication. Berns is humbled and thankful to have received both nationally recognized awards at his last concert at Pana Schools.

Reminder to the community: Pana High School is hosting its blood drive TODAY, May 3rd from 9 am - 2 pm. This is open to students AND the public. Come out to PHS and help save lives!

Due to the amount of rain in the forecast graduation will be inside this year. Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for immediate family members. The doors will open at 6:00pm for those with tickets. Entry for extended family, friends and community members will begin at 6:15.

Congratulations to Pana High School seniors John Berns and Emma Stephens who received Music Scholarships from the Pana Music Boosters. Both students plan to pursue Music Education.




Mrs. Simpson's Preschool classes are learning about insects in class. Today, we got to go on an insect hunt. We used our magnifying glasses to get a closer look at the insects we found. We saw worms, bumble bees, ants, and beetles during our hunt.











It's the Seniors last week- so today they are representing their future colleges!!


Mrs.Perry’s Agribusiness class toured GSI and Sloan Implement today. They learned a lot about each business, their marketing plans, and opportunities for employment.
