It's Homecoming night! Make your way out to Brummett Field tonight as the Panthers take on Hillsboro. Come out for the tailgate starting at 5:00 and enter early for the pregame festivities as this year's Homecoming Court is introduced at about 6:30 and our elementary students join the band for the signing of the National Anthem. At halftime, we will welcome back the Class of 1974 as well as the 50 year queen Kathy Kircher. Fans will do their best to identify the Pana Spirit as his or her high school accolades and post high school life are read. All the while we will root on our boys to grab win #5. We will see you there!

Students in Mrs. Chase's 6th Grade Exploring Music classes recently enjoyed a Music Technology day. They especially loved creating their own music with the "Incredibox" program!
World History class did a small unit on Greek Gods. They had to look up information and fill out a sheet that was specific to their God. After they filled out the sheet they designed the Greek God a hoodie. We did the hoodies because they are said to have started during the Ancient Greece Era. Here are some of the hoodies that were disigned.

PHS EcoMeet '24 team put forth a strong showing today at Camp Camfield today. They competed on tests covering Moths & Butterflies, Sustainable Energy, and Mushrooms of Illinois. Go, Panthers!!
Wednesday the Ag Department hosted Madelyn Sowarsh as a guest speaker to share her career with Trans Ova Genetics. Student learned about IVF for livestock and got to see the process of working with an embryo and all the equipment that goes with it.
We were excited to have her share another opportunity in Agriculture with our students and how they can learn anything they choose to be successful. Thanks Madelyn!
Our newest mascot, Major, visited PES this morning. Everyone was so excited to see him as he made his way around the building!
Congratulations to the PJHS Eco-team for their impressive 12th place finish out of 18 teams at yesterday's competition at Lake Shelbyville! 🥳 These dedicated students showcased their knowledge in Rocks and Minerals, Bats, and Illinois Turtles.
