🌿💚PJHS Gardening class made the most of the sunny day! 🌞🌱 They raked leaves, trimmed back grass, collected trash and added decorative fencing to beautify the garden. 🌿✨





🥚✨ PJHS Bookclub class was treated with an egg hunt by the Hickory Estates family during their weekly visit! So much fun!🐰🎉

Our 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders had a blast celebrating National Library Week with a hilarious Mad Libs day in the library. 😂 They unleashed their creativity, coming up with all sorts of silly words to create some truly funny library stories. So much laughter filled the room!






Congratulations to Mrs. Goff! She has completed her student teaching in Mrs. Schmitz's first grade classroom. We will miss having her in our room every day!


PHS students participated in Blackburn College's Science Day today. Students began the day by taking an exam followed by several demonstrations put on by the Blackburn Science Department. PHS students earned 3rd place as a team on the Biology Exam!! Go, Panthers!

PJHS students and teachers represented PJHS at the 2025 Central Illinois STEM Fair. 🖳 The teachers and students demonstrated a few ways technology is being used in the classrooms. Some of the demonstrations included 3D printed tractors working with Sphero robots for a trator pull, 3D printed chessboards, Indie robots, and instruction on the processes of being a 21st Century Researcher. We are so proud of our students for sharing their knowledge with STEM Fair attendees from all over the Central Illinois area!

We were so proud to represent PES at the Central IL STEM Fair in Rochester last night! Our talented students, Bailey, Chloe, Emma, and Jayda, were a huge hit, expertly assisting attendees with the robots. A big thank you to them for their dedication! 🙌 Ms. Hahnenkamp is beaming!

Congratulations to our March Senior of the Month, Landon Meadows. Landon is the son of Melissa and Ryan Meadows. Landon has been involved in baseball, FCA, and Capturing Kids Hearts during his high school career. Landon is employed at Walgreens and in his spare time he enjoys watching sports and attending church. Landon plans to attend UIS for his pre-requisites before transferring to St. John's School of Nursing . Congratulations to Landon!
