Thursday, Sept. 14, the Pana FFA Forestry team made their way to Carlinville. The team was made up of Matthew McFarland, Isaiah Harbert, Clyde Witt, Wade Florey and Zoie Wemple. The team identified trees, forestry tools, read maps, participated in timber cruising, & took a test.





PJHS Parents - 1st Quarter Progress Reports were sent home with students today. Please take some time over the weekend to review their report. Sign the envelope and have it returned on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Mrs. Patton has been at PHS for 17 years now! She currently teaches Comp I & II, English IV, Intro to Lit., and Writing for Industry. She is also in charge of Mentoring and Service Learning, and helps with Tutoring and Lake Land! Thank you Mrs. Patton for all you do!


Mrs. Schmitz's class had a visit today from Mrs. Livingston from the Ag in the Classroom program today. We learned about vegetables and made a paper plate pizza.






We did our first write-the-room for the year in Mrs. Crawford's class. We had to find the hidden addition cards all over the classroom, solve them, & record our answers. We had a fun day with math!






Mrs. Simpson’s Preschool classes have been learning all about their colors this week. On Thursday, we played a fun color hunt game. Each student got to explore the classroom in search of a certain color item to match their paper. It was a fun game for all students and they all did so well with this!











The PJHS Panther Den students were busy this week helping out their community.
