These 13 young singers are amazing! They rocked it at IHSA Organizational Contest in Williamsville on Friday night. We are bringing home an "Excellent" rating along with the judges' suggestions for future improvement! Congrats to the Pana High School Choir!

Huge shout out to all the volunteers that made the Pana Invite track meet a huge success. The meet had 31 teams involved and started at 9am and got done at 2:20pm. That has to be a record by itself but there were 4 event records broken this year as well with one being pole vault by Pana’s own Griffin Kimbrel setting a new meet record of 14’3.25”. Boys were the meet champions and the girls had some great finishes as well. Pana fell just short of being the combined meet champions. Great day to be a Pana Panther!

Third graders completed a contract for taking the IAR. One of the reward choices was to eat lunch with the teacher. We had so many kids choose to spend their lunch hour with us. They enjoyed cookies and cupcakes for dessert. What a fun morning!!

Lincoln School officially wrapped up the IAR state testing. During the testing, students were able to work towards raffle tickets that they could place in Incentive Envelopes. Students were able to earn up to 5 tickets to possibly win one of our great prizes. The students were VERY excited about the drawing! We wanted to give a HUGE thank you to the local businesses that agreed to donate items for our students! Local businesses continue to go above and beyond for the students at Lincoln School and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you to Pana Bowl, Roseland Theatre, Sparrow Bicycle Co, Christian County YMCA, Scoop’d, Anarchy, and Pizza Man.
