New building update! Check out the latest 5th grade video of their interview with the project manager. It's coming along nicely. Thanks Mr. Fuhler for spending time with us! This crew will go back one time. Stay tuned. https://shorturl.at/oDMV0

The German exchange students from the High School joined us as we celebrated students who demonstrate kindness. After Mr. Metzger and Wyatt shared announcements, we presented certificates to students who have been caught being kind. We finished the assembly, as always, by reciting our school motto: Be Smart, Be Safe, Be Kind. ️❤️ This time, however, our German friends added a special touch by teaching us how to say it in German! Be sure to check out the video: https://shorturl.at/bINX6

Miss Kuhn's third grade class enjoyed a visit from fourth grade weatherman, Silas. He informed them about the rising temperatures they can be expecting over the weekend. Also, make sure to bring an umbrella to school to protect yourself from the upcoming showers on Monday and Tuesday! 🌦️☔️

What is that thing? Mrs. Epley's third graders learned what a record player was and listened to music.

PHS has welcomed exchange students from our partner school in Germany, and everyone is having a blast! We've been fortunate to have fantastic host families, incredibly supportive administration, and students and staff whose curiosity and openness have helped forge new and lifelong friendships. Interest in this exchange program is buzzing around PHS right now, and we hope to take our students to Germany next year, where our new German friends will show us the same hospitality we've shown them! A parent and student information meeting will take place within the next month and a half -- stand by!

This weeks Group Work Wednesday in Mrs. Hardimon’s Geometry classes was a Create and Color! Students answered questions about similar polygons to determine what they must draw and color!

Mrs. Perry's horticulture class started up the germination machine and started seeds for garden plants. They are hoping for excellent germination and lots of seedlings in the next few weeks.

All the best to our High School Band and Choir students as they attend IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest this Saturday! Pana will certainly be well-represented by our talent musicians!

Mrs. Chase's High School guitar students enjoyed practicing and performing their first ensembles!
