5th grade Art students at PES did a great job expressing their thanksgiving spirit by creating beautiful shaded cornucopias.

Mrs. Schmitz's class has been busy prepping for Thanksgiving. We made butter by shaking cream in a jar and made pumpkin pie in a bag.

Wow! Our last day before Thanksgiving break was fun filled. Ms. Ashley taught us how to make pie in a bag. We had an Art show and concert. The day ended with a fall craft and a fun filled feast! 🦃

Update: Our Pana Turkey Tournament will be slightly modified this weekend. Centralia CORL will not be returning and they will be forfeiting their remaining two games. Therefore, the first game on Friday, Nov. 29 will be the 2:30 game between Mattoon and Gillespie and the first game on Saturday, Nov. 30 will be the 5th place game between Pana and the winner of the Mattoon/Gillespie game. We hope to see everyone there!

It was a crazy busy day in Mrs. Smith's class with the music/art program and our feast today. We had a lot of fun making our placemats, turkey popcorn bags, and turkey hats. We also made pumpkin pie pudding in a bag today. Thank you to everyone who sent in items for our feast. We had pumpkin pie pudding, ham, turkey, cranberry sauce, cornbread, sweet potatoes, and popcorn. It was a great day!
