
Racking up those laps for the 100 mile club and Mrs. Reiss even got into the action today!




Mrs. Lehn's 2nd grade participated in a fun STEM project. They had to "Save Fred" by getting a gummy Lifesaver around a gummy worm after its boat (a cup) capsized. The tricky part was that they couldn't touch these things with their hands... They could only use 4 paper clips!!

This week at PJHS...Congrats to Brianna Mathis who signed the Wall of Fame for taking time to assist a struggling student. Thanks to Chief Bland for coming in to speak with students about making responsible choices. We appreciate your partnership in keeping our schools safe!



6th graders listened to the story “Perfect.” Then, they chose which character from the story they could best relate to and explain why.

The school district provided bottled water for the Lincoln Elementary students today due to the boil order after a break in the water line on 2nd and Vine. We will continue to provide water until the boil order is lifted but would like to encourage you during this time to send your student to school with water from home as well.


Four of our Lincoln School 3rd graders were the first to reach 1 mile in our all school 100 Mile Club.!!!!!


Algebra 2 students worked together on a card sort today, involving function families! They matched function names with their corresponding equations and graphs.




PHS English Dept. is cleaning house! We have FREE copies of novels. Email Mrs Patton if interested!


Mrs. Berns's Geometry students performed a hands on measuring project today in class.



With the support of Trevor and Jeri Ann Higgins, we will be hosting a Donate Life night! The Pana volleyball team and Central A&M volleyball team will be working together to provide cakes to be auctioned between the JV and Varsity matches! Come on out and support the cause! All proceeds will go to the Higgins family. There will be other activities going on throughout the night!


Mrs. Epley’s class used food to show place value to hundreds. Yum!




Congratulations 6th grader Liberty Law! She was the first student to receive a Positive Office Referral and sign Mrs. Ellis’s Wall of Fame! Liberty was nominated by Miss Brandis for sitting with a student who was sitting alone at lunch. We are proud of you, Liberty!
