The horticulture class has some of their first babies sprouting this week.


Mrs. Chernisky’s 5th graders were all excited to begin coding with Ms. Hahnenkamp this morning. They are off to a great start on their journey!

Congrats to the PJHS Wall of Famers this week: Evan Ohl, Austin Gordon, Lillyanna Rochkes, Kyle Whennen, Seth Horton, Joseph Pierce, and Parker Richards. They demonstrated high achievement in class and positive attitudes! Way to go!


Mrs. Crawford’s first grade wrapped up our apple study with a surprise treat! We made a paper caramel apple craft and then we got the real thing! 🍎🍏😁

The 6th grade, 6th hour, language arts class got to participate in a Live Q&A session with author Kwame Mballa during the Library of Congress National Book Festival. He responded to TWO of our questions!


Dress to impress, it’s Spirit Week at PHS!


T-shirt sales for Lincoln Elementary starts today and runs for one week. No money will be exchanged at school. All orders are placed by phone or online only.

After Monday’s golf lessons, students were able to take their skills to our creative golf course. Fun was had by all.





Ms Hahnenkamp loves the enthusiasm of Ms Headrick’s KDG kids! It’s so fun to watch how excited they are about learning. Today they worked on clicking, dragging, and sorting skills.




Lots of learning in Mrs LaMarche’s 1st grade class today. Ms Hahnenkamp taught click & drag skills as well as how to turn in an assignment. They did a great job!



When there's a sub shortage out there, everyone at Pana CUSD#8 works together. Mr. Bauer even pitches in. These students in 3rd grade at Lincoln Elementary got to hear a great lesson about the earth’s hemispheres during social studies.

PJHS 9th Hour Students ventured outside to do sidewalk chalk artwork!





ATTENTION REMOTE LEARNERS: If you would like your student to participate in picture day we will be taking appointments for October 6 starting from 2:20. Please call the office to reserve a place in line to have your child’s picture taken. You will enter and exit the building from the back NE door (closest to the playground). Participants can remain in the back area, practicing social distancing, until it is your students time to enter the building. Only the student will enter the building wearing a mask. Temperature will be taken upon entry as well. Students are allowed to remove their masks during the photo shoot. Hope to see you on picture day! Call Robyn for your appointment today!
