
Fall is in the air at PHS!


Congratulations to Taytum Sloan, Dallas Lewis, Olivia Julius, Brianna Mathis, Parker Moore, Leighton Henderson, Payton Keeton, Lucas Walter, Mason Hall, Alivia Ginger, and Trip Neal! They all received Positive Office Referrals these past two weeks!




Mrs. Amling’s Psychology classes built an edible neuron today!





PHS Craft Students created Mixed Media Fall Wood Wreaths. Everyone had a different theme or take on it.

These students in Mrs Pieper’s 4th grade launched the Pom Pom from their sling shot 100+inches today. They did a great job building each other up!



The PJHS Book Club organized a Hidden Book Adventure for all students. Books were hidden throughout the building each day.



Today Mrs Chernisky, Ms Rodman, Mrs Otto, & Mrs Cross’ classes launched the Pom Pom from their sling shot to see how far they would go. Students discussed flaws & what they would do differently next time. Farthest today was 179 inches.

Mrs LaMarche and Mrs Headrick’s students were practicing the STEM design process-design, build, test, adjust-with their Apple rafts during TECH Time this week.


Students enjoyed the beautiful weather this week collecting bugs in our school garden.


KDG students in Mrs Beyers and Mrs Smith’s classes have been practicing their drag & drop skills by sorting letters & numbers and colors. They’ve also been practicing reading color words by spinning the big wheel during TECH Time.


Monday, the Pana Fire Dept came and showed our students the process of removing a patient from the vehicle after being involved in a wreck. They also discuss frequent accident spots, and safety tips. Also, the explain the process of a 911 call and things the kids will need to know. Huge thanks to the Pana Fire Dept.


Due to high demand Pana Football is keeping our X-Grain store open until Monday. This gives everyone the weekend to get your orders in.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday October 7th from 12:00 - 8:00pm at Lincoln Elementary.
