A big Thank You goes out to the SILVER SPURS 4-H group for thinking of us and making a generous donation to our school supplies stash for kids!!! Thank you for making us part of your community outreach. Your generosity is appreciated!

ATTENTION!!! Please share the news about the parade being moved.... There will be no outside portion but we will share the video with you to enjoy with your kids tonight! Thanks for your help!!

IMPORTANT!!!! Unfortunately it appears that it is only going to be about 55 with a 78% chance of rain -In case you didn't see it, I sent out a dojo to parents last night stating that the outdoor portion of the parade has been preemptively cancelled and that we will do an INDOOR parade that will be recorded and shared with you all to watch in the evening with your kiddos. We will not be having parents join us at school, but hope you all LOVE the video tonight with your kiddos!! Have a SAFE and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Twin day was a blast at PJHS in the music room!

Pana is excited to be able to host the 1st round playoff game of football this Friday. We will have multiple gates that will open at 5:00 pm. We are asking that if you want to reserve a seat, that you come at 5:00 to place your stuff down. After you place your stuff down feel free to enjoy our tailgate sponsored by the Quarterback with all proceeds going to the Junior class program. The price is set by IHSA and is $5 for every fan to watch the game.

Mrs. Schutt's 6th grade science class has been learning how to properly use a microscope. Yesterday, students used the I.C.E. Box to view a feather underneath a microscope. They then drew what the feather looked like at different magnifications and described what they drew.

Mrs. Reynolds’ class had a STEM challenge to build a gate to hold the 5 pumpkins from our 5 Little Pumpkins poem.

PHS Introduction to Art students created their own Color Wheel and main idea paintings.
Check out the colorful hallway!

PJHS has been celebrating Red Ribbon Week. Today's theme was Be Drug Free from Head to Toe! Students dressed up in hats, crazy hair, mismatched clothes, and crazy socks.

Mrs Glick’s 5th graders were working in Google Slides creating a “Don’t get mixed up on drugs” slide. We learned from each other how to create an amazing background.

Mrs. Reiss has some great STEM thinkers! Check out these cool STEM projects! Students were to build a broom to hold pumpkins. Some creative thinking was happening today. 😊

Mr. Pierce uses his interactive TV to teach students how to write an opening paragraph for their Response to Literature essay over the short story "Flowers for Algernon".

Mrs. Schmitz’s class is having fun learning to measure using non-standard units. Today we used pennies to measure classroom items.
