Students in Mr. Lipe and Mr. Pumphreys driver ed classes have had the City of Pana Police in the last two days to discuss traffic stops and smart driving techniques and answering any questions that the students may have.

Students in Ms. Hahnenkamp's class worked on constructing a way to protect their egg for the egg drop challenge. Several groups made it through the first test of a 5 ft. drop. They will go onto round 2-drop from basketball hoop height. Many interesting ideas.

The physics classes spent the class period today dropping eggs from various heights to see which group's egg crash platform could protect an egg from the highest drop. Students only got 20 sheets or paper, 1 meter of tape, scissors, and 20 minutes to design their device.

This group of physics students designed an egg catching device that caught an egg (completely intact) dropped from the PHS balcony.  Team members (L to R) are Jack Armstrong, Camryn Burris, Ashlyn Finley, and Kaylee Holland.
