Mrs. King’s friends were fooled today by trying to find the elusive “Lirpaloof” bird! We had to sing and wave carrots to get the bird to come out! We didn’t see any of those birds though, maybe next year. Lirpaloof means April Fool spelled backwards. 😊



April Fools Prank today at Lincoln School!!! Students were hilarious as we practiced our flood drill today!


PHS students took part in a flood drill today! Students took off their shoes, rolled up their pant legs and stood on their chairs to avoid the water running under their desks! Some were even on the second floor! APRIL FOOLS! There was a teacher or two who fell for it as well!




Don't miss these talented Pana Panthers Saturday night as they present "Panthers On Stage: Talent Showcase 2022"! The show starts at 7:00 pm in the Pana Junior High Auditorium. Admission is $5.00 ages 12 and up; under 12 FREE! There will also be a bake sale and donation baskets to help support the high school drama club! This has been an incredible journey with these rising stars - let's fill the house Saturday night!

Mr. Lipe's driver's ed class learned everything they need to know about insuring their future vehicles from Kyle Anderson, representative from Willms and assoc. in Pana. Students were informed of any new changes and futures changes in insurance for vehicles and how to pick the proper coverages to fit their needs.

Mrs. Amling’s U.S. History CP classes are presenting over the 1950s this week. Today they celebrated with root beer floats!


SAT/PSAT Testing will be Wednesday, April 13th. 9th and 10th graders will take the PSAT. 11th graders will take the SAT. Seniors are encouraged to visit colleges, trade schools and apprenticeship programs on the 13th.

Horticulture classes have been practicing landscape design.



Mrs Cross’ 4th graders made rectangular prisms with the intooba rods and found the number of vertices, faces, and edges during TECH Time.


PSAT and SAT plans are underway at PHS! Juniors are working hard during SAT prep, SAT pre administration work is done, and PSAT 10/SAT study guides have been handed out. We are ready to rock this test!


Last night, Griffin Kimbrel placed 2nd at the Illinois Top Times meet with a height of 4.10m (13 feet 5 inches).
