PHS Art Club finally took their club photos with their custom made shirts. Yes created here at PHS! Art Club is also experimenting with the Cricut machine, borrowed computer, and borrowed Cricut heat press to make custom tote bags...Holiday or Namesake themed. We have fun!





Mrs. Amling loved getting to sit in on Mrs. Chase’s Rock-n-Roll class this morning and hear students play the chimes! What a great way to start a Friday!


Special thanks to our maintenance guys for having our field prepped and ready for the big game Friday. Also, thanks to Ms. Skinner for creating the pattern for them to be able to make our field look so great.

Mr. Lipe, Mr.Bowker, and Mr. McKinney's PE and Enhancement classes were visited by the U.S. Army recruiters today and treated with a Rock Wall for their workout.

Lincoln School had a new principal today. Congratulations to Alyvia Casner on selling the most items in the PTO fundraiser!
She got to do announcements, walk through classes, eat Dairy Queen for lunch, have a walkie-talkie, and look for students being good on the cameras!



Attention PHS Guardians & Students:
Jake Romano from Illini Grad Sales will be at the school on 10/13 to talk to the Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors about Graduation gowns, announcements, class rings, letter jackets, etc. Each class group will be called down for a 20 minute presentation. This is an informational meeting for students only.
On October 26th, Illini Grad Sales will be in the High School library from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm to take orders for the Senior graduating class. They will order their cap, gown, tassel and any other grad items in which they are interested. An Illini Grad Sales person will be here to measure students for the gowns & help with the orders. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get your Senior supplies ordered early!

On October 4th, the Class of 2023 headed to Lake Land for its annual Career Day. The seniors had a successful day attending sessions and talking to over 40 college representatives.


Panther Fans: Friday night’s football game in Greenville is Brody Haston Night. Come show your support for the Haston family and cheer on your Pana Panthers!


Even the principal’s parents came to Lincoln School to check on Mr. Metzger’s progress. 😊

The Pana Music Boosters are sponsoring a "Nothing Bundt Cakes" fundraiser! These cute little cakes are soooo yummy! They are $6.00 each and orders will be taken through Fri, Nov. 4, with delivery on Wed. Nov. 16. Contact Mrs. Chase or Mr. Hicks or and band, choir, or guard member if you would like to order. Proceeds will go towards new instruments, instrument repair, and choir equipment! Thank you in advance!


Each night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. Pana High School CKH student group wants to transform “October” to “Socktober” & work to donate as many socks as possible to The Mission. Please drop off new socks of all sizes to the HS office.
