Mr. Bonser's Intro to Technology Classes Robotic Vehicle Competition

Mr. Bonser’s Intro to Technology classes spent this spring semester designing and creating programmable robotic vehicles. One robot utilized an Arduino Uno microcontroller and another utilized NXT Intelligent Brick. The rules and gameboard were both modeled after ones used in current national robotics competitions. Students collaboratively planned and constructed the gameboard, as well as wrote rules for the competition. There was a tactical and strategic basis for each rule.
Monday through Thursday (May 7-10) students put their robotic devices to the test by competing against each other to complete the obstacle course they designed.
